Ethics Training Workshops
Overview:
These workshops will provide an overview and refresher
of the ACA Code of Ethics, guiding ethical principles,
and ethical decision-making processes. The content
will emphasize (1) considerations for confidentiality
and (2) boundaries within the counseling relationship
- two salient areas for most professional counselors.
The workshop will also include a discussion of special
and current ethical topics for counseling practitioners.
The format will include presentation, problem-based
case studies and both large and small group discussion.
LPCANC is a Continuing Education provider
for NBCC and this program will fulfill the NCBLPC
renewal requirement of three hours continuing education
in Ethics.
