Description: The Enneagram is more than a personality typing system. Besides revealing one's core personality type, it offers insight into basic fears and desires as well as the false beliefs and underlying motivations for behavior. As a counseling tool, it provides opportunities for self-exploration, acceptance of self and others, and transcendence beyond the patterns of behavior which keep us stuck in pain. In this presentation, Marilyn will cover the basics of The Enneagram and will provide handouts as well as resources for further study.

Presenter: Marilyn Wolf received an M.Ed. in Counseling from UNCG in 1987 and is an LPC and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS). She is the former president of LPCANC and is the recipient of the 2002 UNCG Distinguished Practitioner Award. Marilyn has been a student of the Enneagram for six years and finds it to be an invaluable tool in her practice with adults in both individual and couples work.
