Description: There is a strong movement in place regionally and nationally to help primary care physicians integrate mental health services into their practices. We know that many patients with mental health problems would rather seek care from their family doctor, as it is less stigmatizing and more normalizing. Research shows that 70% of all primary care visits have a psychological basis. This training will discuss the clinical, financial and operational aspects of integrating mental health services into primary care practices.

Directions: From I-40 , whether approaching from the east or west on I-40, take Exit 50-A which is Highway 25 South (Hendersonville Road). Head south on Hendersonville Rd. At the second stoplight, turn right on Vanderbilt Park Drive. Stay on Vanderbilt Park Drive, which will make a turn to the right behind the Asheville Cardiology building. Proceed to the roundabout and go about halfway around. You will see the Mission Reuter Children's Outpatient Building and directional signs to the left for parking.
