Description:
Neuropsychological testing assesses the health of
the brain and central nervous system by measuring
intelligence, memory, and personality functioning.
Results from a neuropsychological evaluation are useful
for diagnosing disorders, advising the potential usefulness
of psychotropic medications, and recommending educational
planning for children with significant learning problems.
This brief workshop will provide an overview of these
and other benefits of neuropsychological testing.
About the Presenter:
Patrick Sullivan, PhD, has worked as a clinical psychologist
for more than 30 years. He specializes in psychological
and neuropsychological assessment and provides a wide
range of counseling services.
